Overdue Invoice Notices

Our hosting and billing system cannot currently differentiate between recurring invoices for hosting and support and those one off invoices generated for website development deposit or final balance requests. Therefore, new customers may be worried or concerned to receive a very quick chaser from us for their deposit within days of agreeing to place their business with us. Please don't be as this is down to a limitation of our hosting and billing system and new customer can normally just ignore this chaser.

Unfortunately, The reason for this is that our current hosting and billing system cannot currently tell the difference between an invoice that has just been raised for a new customer deposit invoice or balance request, and one that has been raised weeks ago for a recurring hosting service. Hence, as soon as the due date passes, the automation settings kick in and the first overdue invoice will be generated 7 days after the initial invoice generation date. We apologise for how this may seem but we are unfortunately not able to change it at this time.

This is the current schedule for invoice generation which covers all invoices including hosting and support and deposit invoices.

Recurring invoices (2nd 3rd year hosting etc)

Each hosting agreement has a specific due due date to it-

Invoice is generated 14 days before the due date.

Invoice due reminder is generated 3 days before the due date.

1st OVERDUE reminder is generated 7 days after the due date.

2nd OVERDUE reminder is generated 14 days after the due date.

3rd and final OVERDUE reminder is generated 21 days after the due date. At his point, if no payment has been received the hosting account including all files will be permanently deleted.

New Customer Deposit or Final Balance Invoices (or indeed brand new hosting agreements)

Invoice is raised on a specific date.

1st OVERDUE reminder is generated 7 days after the due date.

2nd OVERDUE reminder is generated 14 days after the due date.

3rd and final OVERDUE reminder is generated 21 days after the due date. At his point, if no payment has been received we will assume that you have changed your mind and no longer wish you work with us on your website development.

Note: these are our current chaser reminders but they may be changed withouth prior notice.
