Using the Atmail Webmail Client

With effect Friday 24th April 2009 (8:00pm), the webmail client Roundcube will be replaced by Atmail for operational resasons.

Important Note

The Atmail webmail client is a light weight application and should only be used for occaisional and non intensive email use as with the previous webmail client Roundcube. It is not intended to be a replacement for an email client such as Outlook or Windows Mail but is provided as an option for when you are out of the office and need quick access to your business email. It is therefore provided on a best endeavours basis with no guarantees of high performance other than that stipulated above.

If you are a heavy or regular webmail user and don't want to use a normal email application on your PC, you should consider using a 3rd party provider such as Gmail, Yahoo Mail, Hotmail, GMX or similar free webmail offering. From there, you can collect your normal business email and benefit from free webspace that doesn't impact your hosting with us. Additionally, these free webmail applications also offer an improved range of features not found in Atmail or similar Open Source webmail clients. If you want to discuss this last option feel free to contact us and we would be happy to provide you with further guidance.

Accessing Atmail

To access webmail, please visit www.yourdomainname.co.uk/atmail or click the webmail icon in the Direct Admin hosting control panel.

The following conventions apply when using webmail.

Password is the same password as the password used in your email client (outlook express, Outlook or Windows mail etc).

Using Atmail

Atmail is as easy to use as any other webmail application so we don't believe there is a need to provide any tutorials on this. However, if you do need help, please use the 'Help' option at the top of the page from within Atmail which does provide some basic usage instructions.

Note: If you have misplaced any of your email information, please contact us by raising a support ticket from this system.
